Tributes have been shared on social media after a man was found dead at a Southampton park.
Officers were called to the “unexpected” death at Mansel Park at 10.30pm on Monday, police said.
The family of the man in his 20s has been informed and a file was being prepared for the coroner by police earlier this week.
As news of the unexpected death came, many took to social media to pay tribute to the man.
Facebook user Jeanette Meek, said: “Rest in peace and my deepest condolences go to all his family and friends.”
Rikki Shave said: “He will be greatly missed, he was a lovely man.”
Another user, Liam Richard Cooley said: “Rest in peace mate, my condolences to your missus and family brother, one love.”
Meanwhile, another user, Genna Stevens, said: “Rest in eternal peace. I hope you’re in a better place. Love and strength to your family."
