A Southampton carvery forced to close after rats were found nearby has reopened.

Walnut Tree Farm on Adanac Drive in Nursling was shut on Friday, May 3 - and at the time it was not clear when it would reopen.

It appears the pests were found in grounds close to the pub and were uncovered due to construction work.

The pub remained closed for almost a week, and has had periodically closed since.

Now Greene King, which runs the pub which offers a carvery every day, has confirmed to the Echo that Walnut Tree Farm has reopened and has been since May 11.
