HUMAN rights activists will highlight the plight of a prisoner in Tunisia.
The Amnesty International Southampton branch will explore the life of Jabeur Mejri at its next meeting at 7.30pm on Monday, February 10, in the Community Room at Sainsbury’s in Portswood.
Mr Mejri is serving a seven-and-a-half-year jail term after being sentenced for undermining public morals by posting a cartoon of the Prophet Muhammad on Facebook.
Entry is free and all are welcome.
