MOURNERS will pay their respects to one of Hampshire’s most celebrated politicians.
The funeral of Sir David Price will take place from 11.30am on Thursday in St Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in Hythe.
Sir David was MP for Eastleigh from 1955 to 1992. He died last week at the age of 89.
The Conservative politician was the town’s longest serving MP. He rose to the rank of junior trade and aerospace minister under three separate Prime Ministers.
The service will be followed by a private burial at Beaulieu Cemetery.
