Seven in court on cocaine charges
SEVEN Southampton people appeared at the city crown court, charged with conspiring to supply cocaine.
Omar Thomas, 26, of Wimpson Lane; Deanne Browne, 31, of Inkerman Road; Amy Aimsworth, 21, of Mortimer Road; Paul Absolom, 23, of Millbrook Road West; Samantha Goulding, 39, of Whittering Road; and Joseph Sangster, 22, of Paignton Road – denied the allegation.
A further defendant, Christopher Vine, 27, of Calmore Drive, Southampton, did not etner a plea.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of another defendant, Brian Hill, 27, also of Calmore Drive, who did not turn up for the hearing.
The case was adjourned until May 16, with a trial set for May 27.
