Police investigating a hit-and-run accident are hunting the driver of a black Audi.

Officers launched an investigation after an injured cyclist was left lying in the road following a collision in Beaulieu Road, Hythe, last Sunday at 11.30pm.

A police spokesman said: “Officers want to speak to the driver as they think he or she may have information which could help the investigation.”

Call Totton Roads Policing Unit on 101.

I really hope they find him and throw the book at him (and any other heavy object nearby).
