POLICE are searching for a pair of cyclists suspected of mugging a man in Southampton and stealing £210.

The 41-year-old victim was walking in Coxford Road in the city centre near the Golden Pond Chinese takeaway when his jacket was pulled from behind.

He fell to the floor and an envelope containing the cash was taken from his pocket.

Two men wearing grey hooded tops were spotted riding away from the scene, one on a red bike and the other riding a dark coloured bike.

The incident took place between 4pm and 5pm on Wednesday, February 26.
