PASSENGERS using the re-opened Botley line between Fareham and Eastleigh had to face fresh delays today.

The line was up and running today after the country's biggest landslip but it suffered a signalling problem which saw trains delayed by 20 minutes.

The news comes after the line was closed from February 1, which saw thousands of commuters having use rail-replacement bus services.

Contractors are still working on near the line for a further eight weeks to ensure that further landslides do not happen on the Botley line.
