Last year's River Hamble Games
Entry is open for The River Hamble Games 2014 which gives residents a chance of sailing, rowing, kayaking, swimming, paddleboarding and running on July 12.
Sailing will be at Cat Head with the event base split between Warsash Sailing Club and Hamble River Sailing Club and three classes Laser Standard, Junior Handicap and Senior Handicap.
Rowing and kayaking will take place on the river with kayaks available for loan. Paddleboarding will be a sprint race and a five to six-mile distance race.
Swimming competitors can take on 1,500m or 500m while runners can do either 5km or 10km from Hamble to Netley Country Park. To sign up log on to riverhamblegames.com.
