Remembering those who died at work
PEOPLE who have been killed at work will be commemorated in Southampton on Monday.
UNISON members will mark Workers’ Memorial Day at the memorial bench in East Park at 12.30pm.
Flags will also be flown at half mast on civic buildings in the city.
The day was established to recognise workers who have died or suffered from health problems due to hazards at work.
