Car crash shuts motorway

PART of one of Hampshire's busiest motorways was closed tonight after a road smash.

The M27 eastbound carriageway was blocked between junction 11 Fareham and 12 Portsmouth when a Jaguar and Kia Carens were in collision at 7.05pm.

It followed heavy showers which had caused treacherous driving conditions and excess surface water.

Both drivers received treatment at the scene for minor injuries.

Motorists were caught in severe tailbacks for nearly an hour while crews removed the vehicles blocking three lanes.

A whole section of a busy motorway closed, thousands of people affected all because one person wasn't concentrating. They should name and shame such people

Someone on their mobile again probably.Won't cure it until the government has the guts to make it as serious offence as drink driving, and throw the book at them.

Most probably a black immigrant benefit cheat too, I expect. What other assumptions can we make so we can feel better about ourselves? Oh yeh, they were probably a gay student too.
