10:25am Wednesday 30th April 2014 in News
On the trail of birdlife in the New Forest IF you would like to find out more about New Forest birds but don’t know where to start, you can join the annual RSPB and Hampshire Ornithological Society bird trail on May 11.
The trail will take you into the heart of the New Forest to observe the amazing variety of birdlife, and other wildlife too.
Adults and children over seven can register for the bird trail and take part in a competition to spot the most species of birds throughout the day. Teams will be chosen at the start of the trail.
Other nature activities will take place through the day but pre-registration is required for the bird trail.
The winning team will receive a prize and everyone who takes part will take home a goodie bag.
For more information and to register, call Paul Levey on 01702 545547, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
