THE thrilling sport of horseboarding was among the attractions for thousands of people attending the Hampshire Country Fair.
Boarders are towed by horses at speeds of more than 20mph around a slalom course at the event at Netley Marsh Showground in the New Forest.
It is a new feature for the celebration of rural pursuits, alongside displays of vintage tractors and farm machinery, chainsaw carving, hedge-laying, blacksmithing, basket weaving, ferrets and hamsters.
Also popular are the eagle, owl and falconry shows, gun dog displays and fancy dress dog races.
The fair continues today until 6pm.
