A MUM-of-two head-butted a head doorman when he and colleagues tried to escort her from an Eastleigh nightclub on New Year’s Eve because of her erratic and drunken behaviour.

As she was being led out of Club Regal, Teena Sherrott became aggressive and shouted abuse before kicking a woman, Southampton Crown Court heard.

Prosecutor Tom Wright said Sherrott spat at another doorman but appeared to calm down after she was sat on a sofa in the reception, crying and apologising.

However, when the head doorman Marcel Collers told her attempts to find others in her group had been unsuccessful, she started shouting and screaming before head-buttng him in the face and throwing her shoes at him, the court was told.

He suffered two black eyes, a chipped tooth and a broken filling, and was off work for two weeks with the loss of £600 in wages.

Sherrott, 27, of Chestnut Avenue, Eastleigh, admitted one count of causing actual bodily harm and two of battery.

“Your behaviour was quite disgraceful,” said Recorder Nigel Lickley QC, who then spoke of two references he had read which “painted a different picture of her”.

He added: “You are the mother of two young children and there is nothing before me to suggest you are not a good mother but you have put that relationship at risk.”

He gave Sherrott a six-month suspended sentence with 12 months’ supervision and three-month curfew and order to pay £100 victim surcharge.
