POLICE have formally identified a body found on the Isle of Wight as that of a woman who went missing on May 24.
Detectives have identified 67-year-old Patricia Tolfree, from Totland Bay, after her body was found on May 27 following a major search operation.
Police and the Solent Coastguard had been involved after her car was found in a car park at Tennyson Down.
It had been thought she may have been heading to Winchester to see friends, but her body was found in Totland on the Isle of Wight.
Her death is not being treated as suspicious, and her next-of-kin and the coroner have been informed.
