Students and staff at Southampton Solent University (SSU) are set to benefit from a partnership with the Mary Rose Museum.
The new working arrangement will mean more students will be offered internships at the Portsmouth-based attraction.
Museum chief executive, Rear Admiral John Lippiett, who was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University in 2011, said: “The experience they gain from the Mary Rose team and through working in the museum provides a great springboard or their future careers.”
This is the latest in a series of partnerships that the SSU has signed with organisations such as Business South, B&Q and The Ageas Bowl.
