Five-year-old hit by car
A five-year-old child was rushed to hospital yesterday morning after being hit by a car.
The youngster was knocked over by a red Vauxhall Corsa just after 8.30am.
Three police cars, an ambulance and a rapid response vehicle rushed to the scene in Bedford Place, Southampton.
The child was taken to Southampton General Hospital with minor injuries.
