A HOTEL in Alresford has received recognition for its breakfasts.
The Swan, which now houses the new town clock, has been given a Kellogg’s Breakfast Award after a VisitEngland representative assessed the hotel.
The inspector praised the quality of the food and the staff’s service, describing the full English as a “very generous portion size, quality bacon was crispy, a very “meaty” local pork sausage, scrambled egg was creamy and beautifully cooked, the mushrooms being well seasoned. All served on a preheated plate, adding to the guests’ enjoyment.”
The hotel was presented with a Hampshire Hospitality Award earlier this year and was the inaugural winner of the Alresford Chamber of Commerce Business Award 2013.
