A SOUTHAMPTON-based housing association has won £8.6m of Government cash.
Raglan Housing successfully bid for funding from the Homes and Communities Agency’s Affordable Homes Programme.
The money will be divided between 450 homes the association is building across the country.
Chief executive Nicholas Harris said: “This is great news for Raglan and we’re delighted to have been given our full funding allocation from the HCA.
“It is a significant boost to our housing development programme and will help meet the costs of building many new high-quality, affordable homes where they are most desperately needed.
“The quality of our bid is reflected in this funding.
“We’ve got what we needed and we now can focus on progressing our new developments across the country.”
