THE organisation which advises the Government on the minimum wage will visit Southampton this week.
Low Pay Commission (LPC) chiefs will speak to a number of organisations in the city and on the Isle of Wight tomorrow and on Thursday.
LPC commissioner Kay Carberry said: “Listening and understanding the impact the minimum wage has in different regions across the UK is vital to our research.
“We are keen to understand the impact the minimum wage and youth and apprentice rates have in the Isle of Wight and Southampton and to meet with those affected.”
