HAMPSHIRE residents will be challenged to travel-based games as part of a roadshow to promote the introduction of a smart travel card.

Solent Go Travel card, similar to the Oyster card used in London, has now been launched and replaces the existing paper Solent Travelcard.

A roadshow is being organised with fun challenges for all the family.

It will stop in Fareham High Street bandstand today, from 9am to 5pm. On Sunday, August 31, it will be at Winchester Cathedral Square from 9am to 5pm.

It will hit the road again two weeks later, with stops in Winchester Tesco Extra in Easton Lane on September 19 and 20 and in Southampton it will visit WestQuay shopping centre on October 4.

There will also be a stop at Hythe Ferry Office on October 26.
