A TEENAGER has been charged following a crash in which a car ended up on its side on someone’s driveway.
Connor Mears, 18, of Oakley Road, Southampton, was charged with drink-driving, driving without a licence and driving without insurance. He has been bailed to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on September 25.
This was in connection with an incident in King George’s Avenue, Shirley, where a car left the road and crashed through a wall outside someone’s house, ending up on its side on their driveway.
A 17-year-old male who was also in the car is still being treated in hospital following the incident, at 12.30am on Sunday.
