PARAMEDICS were called after a suspected gas leak at a Hampshire home.
A resident in Broomhill Way, Eastleigh, raised the alarm with Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service after smelling something which they made them feel nauseous.
Crews from Eastleigh fire station and a rescue support vehicle containing gas detection equipment from Redbridge were sent to the scene at about 9.10am.
Crew manager Lawrence Mackrell from Eastleigh fire station said: “The paramedic checked out the individual but found no cause for concern. We found no detection of a gas leak.
“From our point of view we went through all the safety procedures but we couldn’t find anything.
“We would to highlight the importance of having carbon monoxide detectors installed in the home which this lady didn’t have.”
