A MAN is fighting for his life after being struck by a car on a Southampton road.
The incident happened in Warren Avenue in Shirley Warren last night at 10.13pm.
An ambulance crew from South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) and a fire engine from Redbridge fire station were called to the scene.
A South Central Ambulance spokeswoman said: “We got reports of a person who had been hit by a car and we sent an ambulance crew and ambulance officer to the scene.
“They assessed and treated one patient who sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.”
