A HAMPSHIRE MP went back to school to give youngsters an insight into her life in politics.
Eastleigh MP Mims Davies visited Wildern School and was quizzed by students about her role, career and political views.
This academy is in the heart of the Hedge End community, one of the outstanding schools in the constituency and it prides itself on an excellent record of academic success with fantastic art and sporting facilities.
The headteacher, Mary Lou Litton, also took the MP on a tour of the D.@rt Centre and the Berry Theatre during her visit.
“It was amazing to spend some time meeting with students and discussing my job as an MP.
“Hopefully they will now have a greater insight into my life in Westminster and the issues I deal with locally,” she said.
“I am very much hoping to welcome students from Wildern to the Houses of Parliament in early 2017 and I thank the school for inviting me to meet the pupils and see the excellent facilities.”
