A GROUP of Southampton babies who began life on the small screen will be getting in front of the camera one again in a new spin-off series.
New programme 'I Was Born on One Born' will catch up with the six children who were born at the city's Princess Anne Hospital in 2009 and 2010 and featured on hit Channel 4 show One Born Every Minute.
Fans of the show can find out how the youngsters, who are now in primary school, have been getting on through the new 'shorts', available on All 4, Channel 4's catch-up service, from today.
Maria Dore, head of midwifery at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, said: “Being part of this groundbreaking project was a fascinating and extremely positive experience.
“The feedback we received in Southampton alone showed that viewers really valued the opportunity to witness real birth experiences, which was something that had never been given such a detailed and proper platform in the media before.”
