Jahmel Jones murder jury get second look at CCTV footage
THE trial into the murder of Jahmel Jones resumed this morning for jurors to have another look at CCTV footage.
Members of the jury requested to see key CCTV evidence of three of the defendants in the hour leading up to the fatal shooting of Mr Jones, who was known as Lucky, at a flat in 69 St Mary's Street on April 20 last year.
The footage showed Pierre Lewis, Isaac Boateng and Jemmikai Orlebar Forbes leaving Graham House, Northam, where they stayed the night before.
The camera footage captured the three men walking to St Mary Street and past the Tesco Express store, before Lewis is seen peering into the Coral bookmakers.
The footage also shows one of the men looking into Ladbrokes and all three walking into 69 St Mary Street where the shooting took place.
Jurors then saw the defendants, who were wearing hooded tops pulled over their heads, walk away from the block moments after the shooting, which unfolded at 11am.
They are captured walking at a relaxed pace back through the St Mary's area and returning to Graham House.
Jurors were in court for around 15 minutes before retiring once more to consider their verdicts.
Pierre Lewis, 20, of Castlenau, Barnes, Jemmikai Orlebar-Forbes, 20, of Cloudsdale Road, London, and Isaac Boateng, 22, of Mill Farm Crescent, London, all deny murder.
They have pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
Rachel Kenehan, 35, of Hewlett Road, London, denies conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, assisting an offender, and perverting the course of justice.
