Driver hurt in crash when airbag activated
A MAN received minor facial injuries in a two-car crash at Ampfield.
Police say when an airbag in his car activated he was hit in the face by it and left with bruises. He did not require hospital treatment.
Saturday’s accident at about 1.15pm at the junction of Jermyns Lane and the A3090 involved a MG ZT car and a Peugeot 206.
No one else was injured.
The other driver was a woman from the Romsey area.
