POLICE, farmers and landowners in Hampshire will crack down on rural crime.
The Country Land and Business Association (CLA) has organised an event to showcase precautionary measures and new technologies to combat opportunist thieves stealing machinery, vehicles and livestock.
The Rural Crime Prevention Day also aims to help farmers and landowners cut the chances of being a victim of crime and give them an edge over criminals.
The event will run from 9.30am to 4pm on March 27 at Sparsholt College, Winchester. It costs £10 for CLA members and £15 for non-members.
