MUSIC lovers are being urged to take their Union flags when they attend a concert given by a police band.
The band of Hampshire Constabulary will be playing a medley of First World War songs – and plenty of audience participation is planned.
The concert will be held in the chapel at the Royal Victoria Country Park, Netley, on March 25 at 7.30pm.
The Friends of the Royal Victoria Country Park are raising money for a poppy memorial sculpture to commemorate the centenary of the start of the war.
Tickets cost £9 each and can be bought in the park shop and the parish office. Call 023 8045 5157.
