A WOMAN was pushed to the ground and robbed in Southampton.

The 36-year-old local woman was approached by two men at Station Road Recreation Ground, Netley, between 11.15pm on March 15 and half past midnight on March 16.

The men asked the woman for the time, and then pushed her to the ground and grabbed her handbag.

The bag was found nearby, missing cash that had been inside.

The men are described as white and in their late teens to early twenties.

Detective Constable Donna Kay said: “Please contact police if you were in the area at the time and saw or heard anything suspicious.

“The woman suffered minor cuts and bruises from being pushed.”
