A YOUNG husband and wife have died within days of each other, just five months after their wedding.

Devastated family and friends of Louise and Brent Turner were today in mourning after the pair died only eight days apart.

Mum-of-three Louise, who was 34 and lived in Romsey, died on April 1 after being taken to Southampton General Hospital.

A post mortem proved inconclusive and police are now waiting for the results of toxicology tests to establish what caused her death. An inquest was opened and adjourned until a later date.

Earlier this week her husband Brent paid a touching tribute to his “darling wife”, whom he married in November, in a death notice placed in the Daily Echo.

It read: “God Bless you darling, goodnight. You’ll always stay loved and remembered every day. Take my heart with you, it’s yours to keep.”

Police then discovered his body at a house in Sholing, Southampton, on Wednesday evening.

A post-mortem examination was being carried out yesterday in a bid to establish how he died.

Hampshire police have said that neither death is being treated as suspicious and that files are being prepared for the coroner.

Family and friends of Louise will gather for her funeral, which is set to take place in Romsey Abbey on Tuesday.

Her devastated friends and relatives have left tributes on a Facebook page set up in memory of the young mum, who leaves three young sons.

Louise, nee Carter and Curle, was a former student at The Romsey School and is believed to have worked in Inspirations Hair Design in Romsey.

Mourners are asked to dress with a hint of lilac for her funeral, which starts at 2.30pm.

The Reverend Tim Sledge said: “Our main focus is on the families of both Louse and Brent. It’s been a devastating time for their families and our job is to support them at the funeral and in the coming weeks and months.

“Any death is tragic and devastating and it hits harder when it’s a younger person.”

Louise’s family are asking for donations in lieu of flowers for Macmillan Cancer Support. They can be sent to A H Cheater Funeral Directors, Romsey.
