Students celebrate film-making
A CELEBRATION of film-making was staged by the University of Southampton’s film-making society, Wessex Films.
An exhibition of films was held at The Bridge Bar on Highfield Campus, featuring films from the past six decades.
Wessex Films is one of the university’s oldest student societies, with its first known work being a black and white 16mm film of the 1954 RAG procession.
During the academic year, Wessex Films meets weekly in the Nuffield Theatre.
