A WOMAN driver needed to be cut from her car by firefighters tonight after crashing on a Hampshire motorway.
She lost control of her Hyundai Getz on the M27 westbound carriageway between junction 11 Fareham and junction 12 Portsmouth at 9.34pm.
Crews of 17 firefighters from Gosport and Portsmouth fire stations spent nearly an hour cutting her out before she was taken to the Queen Alexandra Hospital with what are thought to be serious injuries.
Two lanes were closed until 11.30pm while recovery crews clear the wreckage.
