Hospital staff told to raise alarm over care failures
HOSPITAL staff are being encouraged to raise the alarm if they see a slip in patient care.
Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital in Chandler's Ford has signed the Speak Out Safely Campaign, which vows to protect staff who report poor practice.
They are the first independent hospital provider to back the patient safety campaign.
Derek Scott, Wessex theatre manager, said: “Any initiative which helps to raise the bar in terms of patient safety should be applauded.”
