Ian Bree let youngsters drink smoke and watch porn while he walked around naked in his Southampton home

A Hampshire man has been jailed after a judge heard how he allowed youths to drink, smoke and watch pornography while he walked around his house naked or wearing just a thong.

Southampton Crown Court heard how a parent contacted the police over concerns about their son, who had visited Ian Bree’s home.

The youth said nothing had happened and the police gave Bree advice.

They were later contacted in similar circumstances by another parent. Again the boy said nothing had taken place, although Bree was issued with a child abduction notice.

However, another youth later sent an officer an email saying what happened when they went to Bree’s house at weekends.

Prosecutor Stephen Parish said one youth described Bree to police as being “very childish in a 50-year-old’s body”.

Bree, 52, of Rockram Close, Bartley, admitted four multi-incident counts of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child and one of sexual assault when he pulled down one youth’s trousers and smacked him on the bottom.

Jailing him for two years, Judge Peter Henry told him his behaviour had been “repulsive and inappropriate”.

The judge accepted he was somewhat immature and wanted to be accepted in their group.

“There is no evidence you lured these children to your house for sexual gratification, but on the other hand you left the sweet shop door open by allowing them to drink, smoke and having pornography available.”

Bree, who delivers expensive cars around Europe in his job, was also placed on the sex offenders’ register for ten years and banned from working with children indefinitely.

He was of previous good character.
