JURORS in the sex assault trial of former Southampton head teacher Richard Hilary retired this morning to consider its verdict.
Judge Susan Evans took an hour to sum up the case before sending the jury out.
Hilary, who was head of Chamberlayne Park School in Weston for 12 years, is facing three counts of indecent assault between December 1977 and December 1979 against a girl who was 15 years old at the time.
Hilary, of Northend Lane, Droxford, denies all the charges.
