City to host museums conference
THE British Association of Friends of Museums will hold its annual regional conference in Southampton tomorrow.
The event will run from 10am to 4pm at Southampton Solent University’s building in Above Bar, and costs £18.
It will feature talks from Robin Jones, Christopher Dobbs and Susie Dawson on subjects including decorative arts in post-war Britain and the Mary Rose.
