A YOUNG woman was threatened and pushed to the ground in an attempted robbery in Southampton.
The 18-year-old was walking her dog along an alley between Selbourne Avenue and Yeovil Chase, in Bitterne, when the attacker demanded her phone and purse.
The woman threatened to punch the attacker, who pushed her to the ground and ran off empty-handed.
The attempted robbery happened on June 5, at about 9pm, and the man is described as white, 5ft 9in, in his late teens or early 20s and slim.
He was wearing a washed-out blue sweatshirt-type tracksuit top and tracksuit bottoms with a small zip on the bottom of the legs.
