POLICE are warning people not to approach a man wanted in connection with an attempted murder whose car was last sighted in Hampshire.

The Metropolitan Police want to quiz Grahame Haldane, 47 from Hounslow following an attempted murder at an address in Feltham at 9am.

They say police officers and the London Ambulance Service attended an address in Feltham where a 75 year old man had been stabbed.

He was taken to hospital where his condition is described as critical.

It is believed the stabbing is a domestic incident and that Mr Haldane has some mental health issues – although it is not known if he has his medication with him.

The suspect is believed to be driving a red Seat Leon. The registration is LS57 TVX and it was last sighted in the Hampshire countryside.

Detectives are asking the public not to approach him if they see him but to call 999.

He is white, 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins, average build, clean shaven with receding hairline. When last seen he was wearing a shirt and tie with a leather jacket.
