UNFORTUNATE TIMING: Leonie Dalgety arrives on Holly

First published in News

HOLLY the pony got caught short and took centre stage when she and her owner arrived at the school prom. Her pony relieving herself brought a smile to the face of teenager Leonie Dalgety, sitting pretty on her trusty mount.

Leonie joined scores of other youngsters at the Chamberlayne College for the Arts prom at Victoria House in Netley. It is one of a host of proms taking place across Southampton and Hampshire and the Daily Echo is there to capture all the magic moments.

This year we will be running a host of photo-graphs from the proms in two special picture supp-lements. The first will be run on Wednesday with the rest of the proms in another Echo supplement on July 16. You can also watch videos from each prom and see all the pictures at dailyecho.co.uk.

No riding helmet? They're just as important as seat belts are to car drivers.
