RESIDENTS in Hampshire are being urged to bag up their unwanted goods next month and help beat heart disease.
The British Heart Foundation (BHF) shops are appealing for people to donate bags full of unwanted goods which will help fund vital lifesaving heart research.
The BHF currently ploughs more than £14m into congenital heart disease research but this year it needs people in Hampshire to help raise more.
Everyone can get involved by simply filling a bag with good quality clothes, shoes, books, handbags, DVDs, CDs, bric-a-brac and children’s toys and taking it into their local BHF shop.
Mike Taylor, from the BHF, said: “We’re urging everyone in the south-east to have a clear-out this September and to donate bags of unwanted items to their local BHF shop.
“Your unwanted items will raise vital lifesaving funds, helping little heroes continue to fight congenital heart disease.”
