THE GREEN Party’s candidate for the next General Election will be kick starting her campaign today.
Angela Mawle, pictured, who is bidding to become the MP for Southampton Test at the 2015 election, will begin her battle for votes in the Dolphin Pub in Osborne Road at 1pm.
Here she will announce her key issues that the party are tackling in Southampton and the wider community which include poverty, health, transport, nature, environmental and planning.
Angela actually stood for Labour at the 1992 General Election in the old Romsey and Waterside constituency and was a Labour city councillor in Southampton for almost six years.
In 2003 she became chief executive of the UK Public Health Association, which represents public health workers across the country, promotes sustainable development and battles to end health inequalities.
