A LEADING Hampshire shipping firm boosted its business by joining an international trade body.

Peters & May based in Eastleigh specialises in transporting superyachts, race vessels and other marine craft to locations around the globe.

Now it aims to grow its business by signing up as the latest member of the British Marine Federation (BMF).

Membership comes with a range of benefits including help when the company exhibits at the Dusseldorf Boat Show in January next year and networking opportunities at the Superyacht UK Tour of Excellence in April next year.

Company CEO David Holley said: “We are looking forward to utilising the many benefits of BMF membership. As with our investment in specialist cradles, lifting equipment and loadmasters to keep up with the demand for our growing superyacht shippings, we also see investing in the support structure of the BMF and its team as an important step.”

BMF head of member relations Hayley James said: “We are really excited to be working with the team at Peters & May again and to maximise the value of membership.”
