REIGNING champions Locks Heath are well on course to retain their Puma Engineering Hampshire League Premier Division title.
They defeated Fleetlands 2-0 to remain three points behind leaders Headley United but with four games in hand.
Matt Rain and Jordan Neal netted in the first half for Heath.
Headley produced a stunning 7-1 success at Paulsgrove with five of the goals coming in the second period.
Richie McCann and Matt Rayney put the visitors 2-0 up before further strikes came from McCann again, Aaron Cresswell (2), Ryan Justice and Sean Hayes. Liam Horsted replied late on.
Second placed Winchester Castle are a point ahead of Locks Heath, but have played two games more.
Castle scored twice in the first 13 minutes en route to a 4-1 home win over Liss.
Tom King (2), Sam Strange and Liam Nancholas all scored before Dean Newby grabbed a consolation.
Hedge End Rangers romped to a 5-1 win at an AFC Stoneham side who had started the day six points ahead of them.
Gavin Cross led the spree with a brace with Matt Hawkes, Steve Bauck and James Milligan also on target. Sam Adams replied.
Jason Parrish scored twice as Baffins Milton beat visiting QK Southampton 3-0.
QK also provided an own goal, with all the scoring coming in the first 35 minutes.
