FOUR youngsters represented Saints at the first ever Premier League 4 Sport (PL4S) National Tennis competition in Roehampton.
Josh Mace, Lauren Bateman, Lauren McKenzie and Nemutullah Niazi helped Saints finish joint fifth out of 12 teams.
Eventual winners Wigan and Stoke City were presented with their trophies by British Davis Cup player James Ward, 2012 Wimbledon men’s doubles champion Jonny Marray, and former Saints and England international Graeme Le Saux.
Tennis joined the PL4S programme in September 2013 and is currently one of 12 sports on offer. The programme is part of an official partnership between Sport England and the Premier League that has seen £16.8m invested in Premier League Kicks and Premier League 4 Sport.
