WINCHESTER City have been handed a tough draw in the third round of the Red Insure Southern League Cup.
Paul Masters’ men have been drawn away to higher division Hungerford Town in the last 16, with the tie to be played in mid-January.
City are going well in Division 1 South & West, and in the last round won 5-2 at divisional rivals AFC Totton.
But Hungerford will provide stiff opposition.
The Berkshire club are fourth in the Southern League Premier Division, and have only lost once at home in the league so far.
Third round draw: Aylesbury United or Wantage Town v Leamington, Cambridge City v Histon, Egham or Godalming Town vs. Northwood, Hitchin Town v Biggleswade Town, Merthyr Town v Chippenham, Potters Bar v Slough Town, Weymouth v Paulton Rovers.
