LUCAS PERCY ALBERT Peacefully on August 7th, 2008. Percy, known as Terry or Son,
passed away at the
General Hospital following a stroke. Born July 25th, 1915, with a childhood spent at
North Stoneham, many fond years at
Bassett Green and following retirement,
28 happy years in Woolston. A man of farming and the countryside,
he had travelled widely, in particular
Nigeria, Brazil and Jordan,
for Pirelli's and Cable & Wireless. Percy will always be remembered for his warmth, concern and kindness to others and now after four years will finally join his loving Wife Ivy
whom he married in 1941. He will be missed by many good friends and family, especially his sons Terry and Barry,
their wives Patricia and Dianne, grandsons, granddaughter and great grandchildren. ---------- Funeral Service to celebrate Percy's life
