UPTON ERNEST (ERNIE) Passed away peacefully on 3rd January 2015, aged 76. Ernie fulfilled his dream of living independently (with a little help from his Friends). Ernie will be sadly missed by his friend and carer of sixteen years, Ann. Resting where no shadows fall. ---------- The Funeral Service is to take place on Wednesday 28th January in the East Chapel of Southampton, Crematorium, at 11.00 am. Ann would like to invite you back to Manston Court, Lordshill, Southampton, SO16 8HF for light refreshments. Family flowers only please. Donation box on the day for a charity to be decided c/o J Beavis and Sons, Vincent street, Shirley, Southampton SO15 5PB.

It was a pleasure to know you ernie and to be one of your carers , we had some laughs and I loved seeing you grin and smile and our fun times listening to gold . You always knew who the singers were you were a great man and will be missed but thought of fondly RIP ern Tracey x x thoughts go to ernies family and especially ernies devoted friend Ann x
