The Eastleigh Lodge No. 8340 Regret to announce the passing to the Grand Lodge Above on Thursday 29th July 2017 of their beloved and worthy Brother: W.BRO. PETER 'pete' STANLEY BENNETT PPG StB Born 27th January 1950 he was initiated as a Mason on 16th January 1982. Elected as Master of the Lodge in 1990. A good friend and a cheerful companion, he will be sadly missed by us all. His last months in declining health endured with incredible bravery and fortitude and an inspiration to all of us who called him 'Brother' and knew him. All our lives were made the richer for having known him and we are left the poorer on his passing. "Endue him with such fortitude that in the hour of trial he fail not; but passing safely under Thy protection through the valley of the shadow of death he may rise to shine as the stars forever" 'so mote it be' Funeral Service to be held at 11.45am on Thursday 20th July 2017 at East Chapel Southampton Crematorium Bassett Green Road, Southampton SO16 3QB
